Braces & clear aligner options

It’s good news for people in Louisville and Mt. Washington that dental technology improves all the time. You’ll get the latest orthodontic treatments at Jennings Orthodontics to make your new smile fast and affordable.

Clear aligners

Clear aligners

Clear aligners, such as the popular Invisalign® system, comprise a series of custom clear plastic trays called aligners that are removable and nearly invisible. Jennings Orthodontics offers 3M Clarity clear aligners for adults and teens in Louisville and Mt. Washington, Kentucky.

Clear braces

Clear braces

Clear braces work like metal braces, but ceramic brackets blend in with your teeth, providing you with a more discreet orthodontic treatment option.

Metal braces

Metal braces

Today’s metal braces are smaller, lighter, and more comfortable to wear than ever before.

Orthodontics for all ages

At Jennings Orthodontics, we believe everyone should have the chance to get quality orthodontic care and a beautifully-aligned smile. We’re proud to offer a full range of orthodontics for children, teens and adults at our Louisville and Mt. Washington offices.

You've got options

It’s good to understand the difference between fixed and removable appliances. Fixed appliances, like metal braces or clear braces, are attached to your teeth and we won’t take them off until you complete your treatment. Removable appliances, like clear aligners, are worn about 20-22 hours a day but you can easily take them off.

You’ll generally need fixed appliances for more complex cases or severe corrections because clear aligners are best at treating mild to moderate orthodontic problems.

Finding the right treatment for you

Dr. Jennings pairs cutting-edge tech with her skill at moving teeth.

Most patients at Jennings Orthodontics pick metal braces to straighten their teeth. While metal braces are the most common type of orthodontic treatment, this isn’t your only choice.

After your free initial consultation, Dr. Jennings will talk to you about which treatment would be right for you based on your unique needs and smile goals. More complex bite problems may need orthognathic surgery.

Dental issues orthodontics can treat:

  • Overbite

  • Underbite

  • Crossbite

  • Gaps between teeth

  • Crowded teeth

  • Protruding teeth

  • Impacted teeth
